Spicy Shrimp Pasta - Update

Ooh forgot to add that there are some wonderful tools on the internet to provide nutritional information about the food your eat. Damon has done the hard work and entered the relevant information into the site he uses so that we can give you a nutritional breakdown of the previous recipe. Hopefully in the forthcoming recipes we can proved all that in line as we generate the stuff.

Spicy Shrimp Pasta - Nutritional Information!

Spicy Shrimp Pasta

(serves 2)
Ingredients:
Sauce:
1/2 pound of shrimp
2 shallots
4 cloves of garlic
Zest and Juice of one Lemon
5 Sweet mini peppers
10 White Crimini Mushrooms
2 tablespoons of "Spicy Peppers in a Jar"
1/4 cup of "heavy cream"

4 Ounces of black spaghetti.

Cooking Instructions:

Pasta:
Do the pasta in gallons of salty water as per packet instructions 8-12 minutes depending on how you like it.

Sauce:
Sauté shallots, lemon zest, garlic, mushrooms and sweet peppers in the olive oil. Season with the salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste. Add the shrimp and cook a couple of minutes per side, turning, until they are cooked (turned pink - do not overcook!!!!). Add lemon juice and white wine and let it reduce a little bit (cook the alcohol out of the wine) and then add the cream and reduce.

Prepare two large bowls, serve the pasta into the bowls by separating into two servings and then divide the sauce by two as well. Pour two large glasses of white wine and serve.
